This is the only country in the world that doesn't have Internet

The state of Chad has already entered the 365th day without the internet, writes CNN.

A total ban on social media began in March 2018 after reforms for the constitution entered into force. The reforms allow incumbent President Iris Deby to stay in power until 2033, when he will be 81.

Deby has been in power since 1990 and had earlier promised to limit the mandates of leaders in the state he is running.

The African state is deeply affected by conflict. The state in central Africa has had a turbulent past with many religious and ethnic conflicts, events that have caused long-standing civil war since the country gained independence from France in 1960.

The decline of the internet has also affected the country's economy, which had been in recession.

It is considered that of the country's 15 million inhabitants, 6 million live in poverty.
