Nine children are reportedly coming from Syria for Kosovo, alone without parents. The last wave of Kosovars in Syria and returned to Kosovo amounts to 110 people, including women, children and four men.
Special Prosecutor Sylla Hoxha has told Express that the prosecution has initially called that children who were without parents were sent to the Social Children's Centre, but then their family members were summoned to receive.
All the children who had already traveled alone from Syria have been handed over to their families, the prosecutor said.
110 women and children who have returned from Syria to Kosovo on Friday are located at the Centre of Asylum seekers in Vranidol.
Four out of the 110 returnees from Syria who are in charge of allegedly being lined up side by side with the militant group, the Islamic State, have been investigated by the Prosecutor.
According to the Kosovo Police, there are still about 30 fighters, 49 women and eight children in Syria who are of Kosovo citizenship.
Since 2012, about 400 people from Kosovo have joined the so-called Islamic State.
