Chief Prosecutor Gives More Details About Syria's Return of Kosovars

To four returnees in Kosovo, criminal proceedings have been resumed against them. This procedure started years ago but it's been suspended. Today, after receiving information from the Kosovo Police, we have made the decision to ban four citizens who have participated as fighters in Syria. They are to the extent of the ban, and very soon the prosecutor takes steps. So 119 people have so far filed charges.”, Lumez expresses them.

As for their identity, Lumez has said that they have all the information right now but that they do not want to make public until the subject is handed over to the Court.

It is known from which countries their identity, names, and surnames are known, but at the moment, we will not reveal this information, Lumez said.

Prosecutor Sylla Hoxha said: “against these four people has been in force of arrest”.

Otherwise, the media conference has also held Justice Minister Abelard Tahiri, along with Kosovo Police General Director Rashit Qalaj.

From this conference, 110 citizens have returned from Syria, from which 4 fighters and others women and children.
