It's about the Buzagi Mosque, or mosque, which is known among the people by several names like: “Giamia Buzagi, or Vichi Mosque, Copte Mosque, Egyptian Mosque, and according to Ottoman Jamaica (Messjid) Jarre Ceribashi.
Information is scarce, but according to some historical records, the mosque was built in the 18th century, while it was rebuilt in 1870.
The oral data carried from generation to generation say that a lady had decided to respect the mosque's construction to offer a calf from which she is thought to bear another name: The calf's mosque. And another option says that the mosque was built overnight by Egyptian soldiers scattered within the army of the Ottoman Empire.
According to a document by the Institute for Protection of Monuments in Pristina, well-known researchers Hasan Kalesey of 1955 writes: ” says the mosque was built for a night at the time of the first entry of Turks to Pristina. From this mosque for the first time in Pristina is the ezani”. The mosque has very little decorations, only one section surrounding the glass frame has decorations as long as it has an improvised wooden dome. Like many other mosques, this was closed during the time of the former monstrous system once and served as the warehouse of a commercial building. But during the time of the mosque war, it has been promoted by Serbian artillery, especially the part of the minaret where its tracks are seen today. /Seven o'clock. Clen Kosovo/
