Economist Lyons was reproved for sending a message to whatsapp that had several other conservative parliamentarians inside.

He then said that he had sent that message by accident and did not share the same conviction.
The message offended had pictures of Dutch Prime Minister of the 17th century Johann de Whitt with the description: “in 1672, a band of furious Dutch men killed him and ate their prime minister. Option. I'm just saying. ”
