The Office of Foreign Affairs of Great Britain in Kosovo advises citizens of the United Kingdom not to visit the four northern Kosovo municipalities, Zubin Potok, Zvecanin, northern Mitrovica and Leposaviqi, respectively.

According to the report published by the embassy, the situation in this area may become tense, so visitors should be cautious.

“protests can become violent, and you need to be careful if you see crowds of people gathered, during political tensions in the city. Contact local media, or consult with receptions and regularly look at the embassy site to stay informed”, reportedly at the British Embassy's announcement in Kosovo.

While the British are reportedly not missing incidents in the north, so they must avoid travel to northern municipalities.

There have been violent developments in Kosovo's north, and incidents of grenades and exclusive means. Avoid public meetings, especially around the bridge that divides Mitrovica in two/”, says further in this announcement.

The embassy informs its citizens that if they enter from Kosovo into Serbia they may have problems at the border points.

It is possible to travel from Serbia to Kosovo, and vice versa. You will surely find yourself in trouble to enter from Kosovo into Serbia, if your passports record that you have entered Kosovo from another country, not Serbia”.

The British Embassy tells Britain's citizens that if any tension occurs in the North, as long as they stay there, they must avoid leaving along the border line in Leposaviq and Zubin Potok.

Also mentioned there are continuing to be mine zones in Kosovo, provided unbroken vehicles, even though all roads have been cleared and that “terrorists can try to carry out any attacks”.
