The change in British passport design has come after expectations that EU departure will happen as planned.
An interior ministry official stated that passports with the inscription “European Union” will continue to be issued for a short period.
Meanwhile, British Prime Minister Theresa May has asked the European Union to postpone the Brex date by June 30th.
