“Bard of Kosovo Radio Television (RTK) based on Article 30 points of Law for RTK has voted openly today for candidates for General Director. The first candidate has received 6 votes for and one against”, said Aferdita Maliqi, chairman of the RTK Board.
“Based on Article 30, Article 4, where it says that the board meeting is six (6) members, and since Article 32.3. The RTK Law is unclear about naming 2/3 members, the Board has decided to seek legal interpretation of this article. After taking the legal interpretation, the Board will state”, Maliqi said.
Otherwise, the competition for RTK directors were: Intervention Kastrati, Nexmedin Spahiu, Menduh Abazi, Lorik Arifaj, Ragip Luta, Festim Kabashi and Azem Buyupi.
