By the end of the year, Turkey on its land will either have advanced US fighter F-35 aircraft or a surface missile defense system in Russia's S-400 air. There won't be both”, Republican senators Jim Rich and Jim Inffee and Democrat Bob Menandez and Jack Reed said in a newspaper published in New York Times.

Despite ongoing US warnings, Turkey's President, Recep Tayip Erdogan, has confirmed that his country will buy the Russian missile system.
The US has said this system will compromise the security of American military planes using hidden technology.
Turkey is aiming at buying these planes. However, four US senators, on March 28th, introduced a two-party bill to prevent the transfer of F-35 planes to Turkey until the US government proves Ankara will not receive the handover of the Russian S-400 system, the S-400 reported. REL.
Turkey has the second largest army in NATO.
On Wednesday, US Vice President Mike Pence said Turkey risks NATO membership if it buys the Russian system.
