Mitrovica's north during Wednesday was calm.
Even citizens' movements are quite common in this troubled part of Kosovo.
This, in spite of a British Embassy response that addresses citizens of this country.
A high-ranking police official is also praising the situation in this part.
Besim Hoti, who is deputy commander of the Mitrovica North, says there is nothing unusual.
Even citizens living in this section have not noticed anything suspicious.
A Serb resident of this area has the same opinion.
A little different from the whole situation in the north is seen by the mayor of South Mitrovica.
Agim Bahtiri, says the situation could be tense.
Despite this Bahtiri, there is an appeal for the Kosovo government.
The British Embassy the day before called on its citizens to be cautious when they moved north of the country and to avoid places where there are large numbers of people as possible.
