On April 24, 1998, the major military-cop offensive for taking the strategic point on the level of Dukagjin, Jabllanica. At this time the fighting expanded to Drenica, while there were military police reinforcements in Llap.
On the night between April 22nd and April 23, 1998, as about 60 people from Herechi and Slupi were returning from Albania to Kosovo, near the C-2 point in the Hiziare Mountains, sometime around 5:45 a.m., face organised hosts of Serbian military-cop forces, to which chemical poisons were also used.
Twenty of them were executed there. On April 26th, the artillery attacks on Babacoq with the district destroyed 20 houses and killed 10 Albanians. On April 27th, the villages of Hulaj and Voksh are promoted, and 3 Albanians and 4 Serbian soldiers are killed in the attack.
On May 3rd, the military operation to clean up the border region again takes off. The villages of the Church of Montenegro are attacked by Ponosheci, Brovina, Batusha and Morina.
Wars for a time expand to Komoran, Slatine, and the municipality of Rahovec. The villages of Ratkoc, Radosta, Brattotin and Brestoc are grenadeised. During the invading operations, Serbian forces on May 26th 1998 also attacked Decanin, where the throne's first line was in this part of Dukagjin.
In this case, a portion of the population was captured and sent to the Decani Church, which during the war had become a concentration camp for Albanians.
At this time in Decani, 16 Albanians were killed and massacred: Bajram Gogaj, Nexhat Iberhyaj, Haxhi Gogaj, Jahir Iberhyaj, Haxhi Iberhyaj, Xaj Kuci, Haxhi Bostraj, Hajdar Kuci, Bekke Shabanaj, Tafe Shaban Shabanaj, Shaja, Haxhi Cacaj, Zize Cacaj, Becir Cacaj, Qaush Bajraktar and Time Bayraktari. Meanwhile, in bloody fighting held in Decani the freedom fighters fall heroicly: Hyme Mushkolaj, Isa Kuchi, Ragip Cacaj and Valdet Kuchi.
