After 20 hours of intense research, police in Vlora have found the Belgian couple at the top of a mountain between the village of Vranish and Ilyaz of Himara.

Yesterday, around 3:30 a.m., the two foreign tourists had called the Vlora Operative Hall and sought help because they had been lost in a remote mountain area of Himara.

Shortly after receiving information, police services Himara had organised research work on finding these two citizens, spreading to the ground about 15 police forces.

Police reported that their location has been very difficult, as the conditions of this terrain are too steep and broken, thus making it difficult to communicate and find them.

They had been walking for the purpose of exploring the mountainous tourism of these areas. Because of the difficult terrain, they had confused the way back and demanded the police's assistance.

Police say tourists are in good health and their transportation is being made near the base hotel in which they are staying.

The police also released a video showing the couple and the guy who says they're very happy to see the officers.
