Today marks the 20th anniversary of the collapse of Kosovo Liberation Army fighters, General Shkelzen Haradinaj, commander of the Dukagjini Operative Zone, and senior superiors of the Brigade 131 “Joseph Gervalla”, Hasim Halilaj, Fatmir Nimanaj and Luan Nimanaj, fallen in the battle of Maznik.
The KLA's OVL in Dukagjin has organisedmazhe at the Mertoral Complex in Gllojan, as well as in September of Shkelzen Haradinaj in Pec.
Shkelzen Haradinaj was born on March 25th 1970 in Glogjan and considered one of the main figures of the Kosovo Liberation Army and synonymous with many Dukagjin battles.
He is General Luan Haradinaj's brother, who had fallen on May 6th 1997 at the Albanian-Albanian border, until a group of fellow fighters were entering Kosovo.
