“From January 1st to now the town of Berat has been visited by more than 20,000 visitors, while the number is expected to be added”, the director of the Regional Directorate of National Culture, Berat, Eugen Kaflani, told the ATSH.
The captain said that “on Thursday alone, April 25th, the number of tourists was a record record, 850 tourists on just one day”, Kaflan said.
U x0 World Heritage Task NESTO, Berat continues to be the preferred destination of many visitors from the country and around the world. A great deal of interest have been shown by tourists to Kalena, the Onufri Ikonographic Museum, the Ethnographic Museum, and the city's old neighborhoods, Mangalem, Gorica, as well as the Gorica Bridge”, Kaflan said.
