Kosovo has restored 110 of its citizens from Syria, out of them 74 children, 32 women and four suspected jihadists.
All of these, reports the BBC, arrive in Pristina with the help of an American Army plane.
The US Embassy in Pristina today has commended the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo for the repatriation of 110 Kosovars who have lived in Syria, 4 of whom have fought side-by-side I SIS.
According to them, in this move Kosovo is setting a new standard for the Global Coalition to defeat I SISwin.
More than 300 Kosovo citizens have travelled to Syria since 2012. 70 were killed fighting alongside various jihadist groups.
Meanwhile, 30 Kosovo fighters, 49 women and 8 children still remain in conflict areas in Syria and Iraq.
