From next week, environmental inspectors at Ferizaj will be out on the ground to monitor closely the implementation of the measure for not polluting dirt roads and construction residues, while mandated fines will be applied for disrespect.
Ridvan Berisha, co-ordinator of the Komuna Inspectorate, said the move was undertaken after the analysis was made to this phenomenon, when Ferizaj is the country's highest-level construction centre, so such a measure is necessary to ensure the level of purity on public roads.
It's about preventing the circulation of heavy vehicles and others polluting public roads, leaving without cleaning the vehicle from the various workplaces.
This phenomenon, encountered mainly in the construction areas of high collective facilities in the urban area, where roads are damaged, contaminated by construction waste, mud from workplaces and other uncleanness, will already be punished by the Communist Inspectorate with 100 euros.
