New Zealand Prime Minister greeted with the words "Peace Ajudju" at the memorial ceremony

A memorial ceremony has been held in Christchrich, New Zealand, in honour of the 50 victims of the March 15th terrorist attack. This country's prime minister, Yacinda Ardern, spoke at the ceremony, along with Islamic leaders and survivors of the attack. Cat Stevens, the British singer who converted to Islam in the 1970s, also sang at the ceremony. Over 20,000 people attended the ceremony held in Haglej Park, where Prime Minister Ardern said New Zealand has “responsibility to become the place we want to be”.
We are not immune to the virus of hatred, or fear. We never were. But we can go back to the nation that discovers the” healing, she said.
“What words can express for a city in mourning, that has known so much pain. I thought I couldn't find a word to say before you. And then I came here and waited with a simple greeting, Salaam Aleikum, peace be with you”, Prime Minister Ardern said.
In the March 15th attack, 50 people lost their lives after an aggressor, self-called white primacy, attacked two mosques in Christschrich and broadcast his act directly on the social Facebook network.
Following this attack, New Zealand changed its Law on Weapons by banning possession of all semiautomatic weapons such as those used in the attack.
