Zaev calls on the Albanian opposition: Do Not Harm EU Integration

Referring to opposition protests in Tirana, Zaev said that “was not in opposition 100 years ago, they are just 21 months ago when I was in opposition, but we were not allowed to give the impression to Europeans that we are against starting our country's talks with the EU”.

We are friends to all of Albania's citizens, and we want the best of the Albanian people. We come as friends and give the peaceful message that through dialogue there will be solutions”, the prime minister of Northern Macedonia said.

“As I said, we were the opposition 21 months ago, this is not far to remember what happened to make parallels to your country. We are friends of the citizens of the Republic of Albania, but by the time I was the opposition the US reports, the EU speaks of a hybrid regime in Macedonia, during that time the right of democratic processes was possible, the same as in Albania, but where I spoke to Hahn, Moghrin, with all the European leadership begging for my country to be given the date of negotiations, as this was the goal of my country indiscriminately of our confrontations as”, Zaev said.

He stressed that “understands the opposition wherever it is, but the duty of all is the state, and because of that we exist as opposition. As a friend of Albania, I want the best for this friendly country, for this friendly people. Everyone has the right to demonstrate”. /Attish/
