The head of the Republic of Kosovo's Parliamentary Association in Canada, federal deputy, at the same time vice chairman of the Canadian-Kosovo Parliamentary Friendship Group in the Canadian Parliament, Borys Wrzesnewskyj, hosted the meeting.
Chief Parliamentary Veselin and MP Wrezesnewskyy discussed the very good reports that Kosovo and Canada cultivate between them at many levels of institutional co-operation, and at the same time praised that this tradition of co-operation must continue and deepen further into the future.
The Speaker of the Parliament said that with friendly states on the side, such as Canada, Kosovo feels safe in achieving its aspirations for further advancement of democracy, economic development and faster walks on the road to Euro-Atlantic integration.
He thanked the Canadian lawmaker for the help and support Canada has given for Kosovo in all stages.
Wessel recognized Mr. Wrzeesnewskyy also about Kosovo's decision of Army establishment and highlighted Kosovo's commitment to becoming NATO member as soon as possible.
MP Wrzeesnewskyj, for his part, thanked President Veselin and Kosovo institutions for the warm reception he received during the visit and simultaneously guaranteed his state's support for strengthening the international subjectivity of the state of Kosovo.
