Seven violent viewers arrested in the sports gym in Rahovec, two policemen hurt

Suspects have caused incidents in Tribuna.

Meanwhile, two police officials have suffered injuries during this action.

Kosovo police have accepted request from the FBK and also from the Rahovec basketball club to make security of the basketball game to be held tonight (01.03.2019) in the town of Rahovec. Police have prepared the operational plan and taken appropriate measures for the management of the sports match within <x0-euroing Kosovo Cup final 8”.

During the match's development, an incident has begun among viewers in the stands, which has led police to intervene and arrest seven suspected (7). Two police officers have suffered minor bodily injuries during the intervention.

The detainees have been interviewed and then, under the prosecutor's decision, sent to the detention for 48 hours.

Kosovo police, appeal to all athletes, viewers in the gym, to have dignified and sports behavior, on the contrary police in all cases where there will be hooliganism and other unlawful forms, will intervene and in co-operation with justice bodies as in this case, legal measures will be taken against those who cause such unwanted scenes.
