Security expert Nuredin Ibishi has said the situation in the country is calm and stable, also referring to reports of security institutions. The dangers of these threats stand because Serbia has a hostile attitude towards Kosovo. Russia's bid to support Serbia and position itself in the Balkans has been every time and that is continuing”, he has said.
As far as the risk of potential destabilisation in the Balkans is concerned, Ibishi has said: “In Serbia to Vuciq there has been demonstrations and ongoing opposition.
Albania is also in a sensitive situation where there are protests from the opposition. Northern Macedonia, following agreement and NATO membership, has passed the risk phase of threats.
Kosovo, however, is not well because of President Hashim Thaci's incompatibility with Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj. Securityly speaking, these clashes are not good”
