Thaci reacts after the attack on Petrovic: Public representative attacked

The president of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci, has made a post in his Facebook profile in connection with the attack that happened to Liberal Serb Party Chairman Slobodan Petrovic of people allegedly belonging to the Serbian List.

Thaci has condemned such an act, calling it a “assault on free speech and a elected representative of the people”.

Furthermore, Thaci has said he strongly condemns the attack and expects the necessary measures to be taken for the attackers to be brought to justice, Periscope follows.

Politicians Slobodan Petrovic is opposed to the policies of Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq and the Serbian List in Kosovo.

The attack on Kosovo Republic of Kosovo MP Slobodan Petrovic, who is also the president of the Serb Liberal Party, is an attack on free speech and on a elected representative of the people. As president of the Republic of Kosovo, I strongly condemn this attack and by law enforcement institutions I request that the attackers take all necessary actions to bring them to justice.
