Kosovo's president, Hashim Thaci, hosted Canada's Parliament MP, Borys Wrzesnewskyj, at the same time leading NATO's Parliamentary Association in Canada, to which he talked about the co-operation of Kosovo and Canada, especially in the security sector.
In this case, President Thaci expressed satisfaction that Kosovo and Canada this year mark the 10th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries and thanked MP Wrzesnewskyj for the continued support Canada has given to Kosovo.
“We are currently working on strengthening peace and for sustainable stability. It is equally important to support Kosovo even now, especially in efforts to reach the permanent peaceful agreement with Serbia and transform the KSF into force ready to become a NATO member”, Thaci said.
He added that Kosovo is clear that the future is seen in NATO and the EU.
MP Wrzesnewskyj said he knows Kosovo's difficult and tragic path and understands the importance of overall security.
“is encouraging to Kosovo's overall development and the development of KSF in particular”, MP Wrzesnewskyj stressed.
