For basic products, such as milk, cheese, eggs, sugar, trees and vegetables, Kosovo citizens have paid for about 3 percent more than January last year, writes “Koha Ditore” today. Consumer price increases of about 0.4 percent have been compared to last month.
Until last January a liter of milk has cost 0.05 euros, in January of this year it has grown by 6 cents, or 7 percent more. The 8 - cent increase has been reduced to another pound of flour. From 0.39 euros in January 2018, the price has risen to 0.47 cents. The increase is also seen in the bread for six cents.
High price increase has taken on beef. Out of 7.27 euros, it has been raised to 7.74 euros. About 33 cents more have paid citizens in January this year for 30 pieces of eggs, compared to January of last year. The 5-10 - cent increase has also been in food items, such as coffee, cigarette tea, firewood, and oil and gasoline.
