In Pristina, the protest march will begin at 12:00 p.m. at “Zahir Pajaziti” Square, and today during evening hours, post office posts with <x2 inscriptions have been placed. > Time has come”, Periscope reports.
Human rights activist, with a focus on women's rights, Adelina Trshani, has told Periscope that this march will focus on the issue of violence against girls and women this year.
This year's celebration will be held in other municipalities, such as Prizren, Ferizaj and Mitrovica, which would necessarily have great civic participation. As for this in Pristina, participation has always been great, and especially this year when the focus of the march will be violence against girls and women who are also being exercised by institutions that are obligated to protect us from it. Women are getting killed and raped every day and everywhere, they're sexually harassed, they're being discriminated against instead of work and access to work, women are being targeted, women are not inheriting property, women are not free to decide for themselves for their troops, so there's still no reason to celebrate, they have to protest”, Tshan said about Periscope.
Marching, celebrating has already become a traditional march in Kosovo, which for every March 8th, instead of the holiday, opts to protest and raise its voice on women's rights./ P ERISCOPI/
