Justice Minister Abelard Tahiri and Parliament Speaker Kadri Veselini have held a meeting today with private sector and entrepreneurial representatives.
Through a post in his official profile on the social Facebook network, Tahiri has written that rule of law is essential to enabling the country's economic development.
“Under the organisation of the Chairman of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Kadri Wessel, attended a forum discussion with the business community, whose goal was to strengthen dialogue between institutions and the private sector of entrepreneurship. Our common goal is to contribute aspirations for economic development, improve the well-being of citizens and the generation of new jobs, and in this direction cannot be moved without even the components of the rule of law and efficiency of the judicial system. Since the beginning of my mandate as justice minister, I have examined the options the country needs, so that the business sector and justice are in fair and efficient proportion to each other. I'm engaged and we're close to closing the dialogue, whose recommendations put it at the centre of a new Court that will exclusively address commercial justice topics”, Tahiri wrote.
Tahiri's full post without interference:
Under the organisation of Parliament Speaker of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr.
I'm engaged and we're close to closing the dialogue, whose recommendations put it at the centre of a new court that will exclusively address commercial justice topics.
Our businesses and entrepreneurs as well as foreign investors need a unique address that will effectively address the materials of commercial nature.
Our serious efforts to offer a more stable and long-term solution to this subject have won the broad support of our development partners, apart from the United States of America and the European Union, with the help of consolidating further steps in this direction.
Our programme to commercial justice will end delays, uncertainties and enable a business environment that works exclusively on the basis of the principles of the rule of law.
