In a response to the media, this union says the decision not to raise salaries for this category is aimed at closing Kosovo A and privatising the Kosovo B plant.
In Kosovo from the post-war to the end of bankruptcy, nothing has been done by chance and nothing in favour of workers, we are witnesses to the division of the Kosovo Energy Corporation into stockary and privatisation society, and at the end of bankruptcy, we are witnessing privatisation of the Elektrokosova division, where by that time we have had very low wages and that the goal of not raising salaries was to prepare for the privatisation of half the ECK. Today, the same path is seen, with the law preparing for public enterprises in this case KEK, as it is clearly seen that the tendency of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo is to close Kosovo A and create major favors to another company at the expense of KEK and the citizens of Kosovo, and ultimately privatisation of KEK's main asset, Kosovocentralari Kosova B, which means the disappearance of our KEK-Kun-<0> Company, is said in response.
The New Energy Corporation of Kosovo, among other things, says it has received a flawed response to the wage law, which includes public companies, which has occurred following the protest held by SRKEK.
Honored KEK employees are aware of what is being done for the rights of workers in Kosovo, and we don't expect much for someone to solve our problem without GREVA protests, so they're taking other options”, the response is highlighted.
