Skenderaj, Drenas and Maliseva benefit financial tools for important projects

Infrastructure and Transport Minister Pal Lekaj has continued on Monday with the signing of co-operation agreements with municipalities for support of their local projects.

This time, the co-operation agreement, Minister Lekaj, signed with the heads of the Scikyright municipalities, Drenas and Malisheva.

The Skywright municipality benefits financial resources worth 1m and 560 thousand euros this year for the realisation of eight local infrastructure projects. The Drinas municipality benefits support from financing three projects, worth 450 thousand euros, while the Malisheva municipality for 2019 receives financial support from MlT for two projects worth 200 thousand euros.

Minister Lekaj assured the mayors of the signatory municipalities that the support they are receiving this year is the continuation of support from last year, while budgetary planning for these projects has been made for the next two years. He asked them to make serious commitment to implement projects because only thus can their obligation be fulfilled to the citizens they direct.

Skyright municipal leaders Drensas and Malisheva, thanking Minister Lekaj for this necessary support for municipalities, gave their pledges that these projects will be realised according to the highest criteria and the set deadlines before them with dynamic plans.
