In the Kosovo Economic Ode (OEK), they have declined to take a stand regarding the abolition of the Law for Lucky Games and the ban on functioning of these businesses for the next 10 years.
Former Economic Oda leader Safet Gerjaliu -- this decision of state institutions -- values this as thoughtless, hasty action and dangerous experiment. According to him, instead of suspending the law and closing businesses, institutions have had to take responsibility and carry out their monitoring duties.
“is not a solution only to suspend the Law or close the games of fate. Much more importantly is increasing institutional and individual responsibilities, having standards and criteria that need to be met, because in the end, if someone wants to have a blow, the state budget is. And above all, there will be other consequences, because regardless of their field of activity, there will be 5 to 15 thousand unemployed. Therefore, I think that such decisions, first need to be analyzed, have information from all relief agents, and then set up for such suspension”, Gerjaliu estimates.
