Shots: Don't block the dialogue, you can be without visas for a long time

That is because the visa issue for Kosovo has not been put on the agenda of meetings by the European Union Council of Ministers.
European Integration Minister Gift Hoxha has recently said visa liberalisation is no longer dependent on Kosovo, but by the Member States.
According to her, these states have deliberately politicised this process, which they believe is good to put into the agenda at the council meeting in June after the European Parliament elections.
By EP officials, it is said the sooner the approval from the Member States is granted, the sooner the process will continue.
European Parliament rapporteur Igor Soltes has said the news that hope that visa liberalisation could happen this year should not be lost.
Whether these countries are expected to change their stances, Soltes has said he is unaware.
I can't give you an answer to this question, I really hope so. The people needed to seek this answer are these EU member states and their respective politicians”, Soltes has declared.
On the other hand, he has stressed that the integration of Kosovo-led dialogue Serbia does not shed good light on the visa process.
I don't think delays in dialogue directly influence visa liberalisation. However, this does not shed positive light on the whole process. It is in the EU's interest that Kosovo and Serbia implement the Brussels Agreement and facilitate dialogue, which has unfortunately been suspended for a long time since”, he has said.
Soltes has added that instead of making progress in these processes, he feels that he is going back.
Due to the EP elections and the deadlock by member states, Kosovars may not move freely until 2020.
