Serbian officials have stated that this platform could lead to the interruption of negotiations between the two countries, it broadcasts Indexline.
Parliamentary Commission for Kosovo Chairman Milovan Drescu believes that the goal of Platfoma's approval of Dialogue is not to freeze the conflict, but to a unilateral deployment of an extreme concept.
<x0mmation of the extreme concept is the greatest risk of this” platform, Drescu told Tanjug, explaining that Pristina will apparently prevent reaching a solution, compromise with Belgrade, in order to have an excuse to declare Kosovo's union with Albania.
He adds that Pristina wants to finally complete the ethnic cleansing of the Serb people from and further destabilise relations with Belgrade, but also in the region.
Therefore, Drescu says Belgrade should insist on continuing dialogue in order to ask the international community to force Pristina to pull out the platform, which Serbs absolutely do not accept.
“We don't want Pristina to lead us into a situation like in Rambouillet before the bombing, when Madeleine Albright came by letter and told us to take it or leave it, then responsibility was transferred to Serbia “, Drescu says.
Dusan Prorokovic from the Institute for International Policy and Economics, however, believes that everything Pristina is working recently, including the platform of dialogue, will result in the permanent suspension of negotiations.
For him, the Pristina platform, which is based on the Constitution, is not a surprise.
If possible, we would have signed something similar in the last 10 years”, Prorokovic told Tanjug.
Looking at the first ball, this looks like a frozen conflict, a permanent suspension of negotiations will come and that in a new context we will have to resolve some crisis situations. But that is not to say. And, Belgrade should offer its platform and see how to resolve this issue,”, he said.
