Security Incident at US Embassy in Montenegro

“Today around 10:45 a person has made an effort to enter the US Embassy courtyard in Podgorica. Security members have reacted immediately by stopping and handing over Montenegro's police authorities. We thank our partners in Montenegro for helping and supporting”, the American Embassy in Podgorica said in response.

After this incident, special police members have also blocked the road around the embassy.

The newspaper “Vijest” reported that the security of the US Embassy has reacted after a group of asylum seekers have made efforts to enter the facility.
