Thus has an investigation by Al Jazeera, while new details about the writer's murder by a team of Saudi killers were reported in an Arabic-language editorial documentary that was broadcast on Sunday.
Turkish authorities monitored the burning of the oven in the wild from outside the locals after bags believed to contain the Khashwall body parts were transferred to the house of the Saudi consul after he was killed inside the consulate several hundredm away.
Al Jazeera interviewed a worker who built the oven that declared it was built according to specifications by the Saudi consul.
It had to be deep and cope with temperatures above 1,000 degrees Celsius of hot enough to melt metal.
Large amounts of meat in the barbecue have been seen in the oven following the assassination in order to cover the burning of Saudi writer's body, Turkish authorities reported.
Khahoggi's body burns took place over a period of three days, Turkish officials said.
Turkish investigators also found traces of Khashoggi's blood on the walls of the Saudi consul's office following the removal of paint that the murder team applied following the murder of the Istanbul Post columnist on October 2nd.
