The SHSKUK committee claims that:
Influenza A. Patients diagnosed with Influenza A have had chronic diseases of cardiovascular and respiratory systems, have come late to QKUK, none of their families have agreed to become autopsy and have been vaccinated with the seasonal flu vaccine.
The epidemic of seasonal flu marks the drop in intensity and is moving towards the epidemic threshold, but there are still cases of clinical severity due to chronic co-morbidity, which the flu complicates the situation,
General recommendations of the National Institute and Hospital Service and Universitical Clinic remain in force and apply to the entire territory of the Republic of Kosovo, re-evaluating once again the necessary measures in all health institutions.
We recommend the Ministry of Science and Technology that all pre-school, elementary and private (public and private) institutions where children and students have signs and symptoms of flu (high-experatures, fatigue, nose leaks, throat pain, coughing, vomiting and vomiting, headaches, stomach and muscles) to avoid contact with healthy students and stay at home, maintaining doctor's recommendations. This recommendation will continue during March.
National Institutes and SKKUK repeat recommendations for citizens to be careful not to appear in cold environments, not to stay in closed locals with high population density, and to use as many hot fluids and vitamins as possible.
The Ministry of Health has already secured vaccines since October 1st 2018 and have been divided by IKSHPK on every QKMF in Kosovo, so elderly and chronically ill citizens are still recommended to be vaccinated. The widespread vaccine in Kosovo has shown an efficiency and reduction of hospitalised cases. For the next season, the Ministry will provide 100,000 doses of priority for the chronically ill and the elderly.
Influenza's activity has included the entire European region. The samples collected by patients from the Senate Centers with ILI or ARI point to a positiveity in Influence of 53 %. Influenza A virus with the subtype A(H1N1) pdm09 continues to co-xyze and dominate a little bit of A(H3N2). And the B virus has only been detected in some samples.
The National Institute has submitted recommendations to all health institutions in the country for measures to prevent seasonal flu and will regularly inform about changes in the epidemiological situation to the Ministry of Health and OBS.
