According to this party, recent actions involving misuse of natural wealth and environmental destruction, water pollution, damage to fertile land, risk of tourism development are highlighted.
“That these actions are losses, fraud and without popular support were proven a few days ago in the protests organised in the town of Peja, where a petition was signed and hydropower construction projects in Lumbardh, respectively, were rejected in Rugova's Greca. Kosovo's Green Movement political party is very worried and desperate with actions and irresponsibly related to living small hydropower projects that are resulting in unacceptable situations and damages for citizens”, the communiqué says.
