This is being done in order to boost security in road traffic and reduce accidents.

Kosovo police in 1321 cases against traffickers in traffic also apply protection measure “Stopping motor vehicle management”
Kosovo police continue with activities aimed at continually establishing safety in road traffic, as well as reducing accidents.
Police units, in addition to the checkpoints of vehicles or patrols in motion, are focusing on identifying and punishing the criminals who risk safety in road traffic.
During the only period from the date 01.01.2019-03.2019 police units have been pronounced a total of 1321 anti-personship sheets, which, in addition to the cash fine, were pronounced protective measures “halting the motor vehicle's operating”.
Likewise, we announce that Kosovo Police will take punitive measures against all traffic law offenders, with the sole goal of raising the level of safety in traffic and preventing traffic accidents in general.
