Why Platform for Dialogue so angry Serbia

The harsh reactions of the authorities of Serbia -- even with insulting tones -- regarding the adoption of the Kosovo Platform for dialogue with this country from the Parliament of Kosovo -- do not represent surprising discurs, they estimate connoisseurs of political, Albanian and Serbian developments. Serbia's authorities have praised Kosovo's platform for dialogue as poor “ ” and the dire “”, calling it provocation and obstacle to future dialogue development.

Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has on Tuesday expressed his surprise with reactions in Serbia regarding Kosovo's platform for dialogue. He has stressed that he does not understand why there are these reactions, since the platform is Kosovo's, not Serbia's.

Political affairs analyst Artan Murati from the Kosovo Democratic Institute tells free Radio Europe that in discussions within the opinion in Kosovo, there are opinions that the platform for dialogue has shortcomings, but takes into account that it is Kosovo's state platform for dialogue, as such has been declared unacceptable by Serbia's authorities.

Serbian political affairs acquaintance Randjel Nojrik says Kosovo's platform for dialogue with Serbia is largely the result of the discours of Serbia's authorities, which has sent orders for the possibility of setting borders between Albanians and Serbs as a solution to the problem.

Even the positions of the Government and the opposition in Kosovo that oppose this idea, according to him, Serbia's authorities have not had to be surprised at the platform for dialogue, which the Assembly of Kosovo has approved.
