MP Elmi Recica's PDK said this session is unnecessary, and that they do not support the resolution proposed by Sami Kurteshi.
We are ready to make our contribution as soon as CEC members are appointed. This session is intervention in the work of the president, which is defined by the constitution. As a parliamentary group, we are mostly damaged by this situation because we have an MP waiting in line. It's pointless to interrupt the CEC's work. The blockade has been deliberate by some members of political parties, who have received salaries but have not attended the CEC meetings. Today's session is unnecessary, and unacceptable is the proposed resolution. Intervention in the president's work is unacceptable. We demand that the president appoints the CEC members as soon as possible in compliance with the Kosovo Constitution”, Recica said.
