For six months 46 thousand flu cases in Kosovo, 4 in serious condition

The alarming state of seasonal flu in Kosovo has passed. In the early weeks of March, there has been an apparent decline in this virus, while in the coming weeks the situation is expected to be below the minimum threshold of influential A. At least that's what the leaders of the three clinics in QKUK are saying that they treat this virus, the infectious one, the Pulmological, and the Paddy.
Despite this, however, they recommend that citizens and children be preserved and that they do not remain in closed spaces and consume as many vitamins as possible.
However, the National Institute of Public Health shows that in six months, over 46 thousand people throughout Kosovo have been affected by the flu.
Infectious Clinic Director Hamdi Ramadani told Kosova Preis that in the past two weeks there is a drop in flu disease, and that over the next week, it is expected to decrease and more.
According to him, up to now there are about 25 treated where four are in a more serious condition. For the latter, Ramadani says they are being addressed with all necessary preparations.
Some 200 sufferers have stopped for treatment during this early period of the Infectious Clinic, while some 550 have received only services.
All of these, says Ramadani, have not been vaccinated, and for this reason the flu has had greater influence on them.
Ramadan: We have a drop in flu epidemic disease
“In the last two weeks especially last week of this month, last week of March, we have a decline in flu or influence epidemic disease... we hope that next week it will sit even more. We will have a decline and more of what is called the epidemic wave of influence. Hopefully, this will be an epidemic or an influence that will pass away. We have about thirty cases that are being handled. We have four sick people, in severe condition from these four sick people, two are and insulated, stay in intensive care. They're in reanimation... And we have two others who are in what we call in the adroom, half intensively to call them who are being treated and given therapy... none of the cases I showed, very large, some 700 cases that came to the clinic, have been immunely vaccinated. Which means it has proved that antigriposy vaccine is the only and best weapon in the sense of preventing the disease”, Ramadani said.
The most common effects are on the chronically ill.
For the director of Pulmology Clinic, Rukiye Mehmeti, the alarming situation has already passed and that all citizens should know that those who died had other basic diseases and not just seasonal flu.
Mehmeti suggests that in the clinic she runs, there are currently two cases that are being treated with the flu, despite the fact that at first their situation has been serious, they are now better with therapy.
Mehmeti: It's not a big alarm to be scared of.
It's not a big alarm to be too scared, but it has to be saved. Normal is very important that there is technology, and to this day it is that when someone gets sick we run and visit him at home. It's good there's no flow of people in the days of viruses. The less they frequent closed places and the less they make home visits”, Mehmeti said.
Besides citizens of adulthood, the seasonal flu affects children more because of poor immunity.
According to the Society's Clinic of Pennsylvania, Drita Telaku only happens in 24 hours to check between 140 and 150 children because of various viruses, which she claims are not serious, and that he is currently not treating any children in serious condition.
For confirmed cases of flu, Telaku said that they are immediately sent to the Infectious Clinic, as there is a danger of the infection being transmitted to other children.
Telaku: The Feelings of Children
A hundred times more, there are up to 140-150 children in the Pacific Emergency. We have periods and a little quieter, but during the winter season, the number of children is very high in check... cases we suspect are a hundred percent influential we send them to and to the Infectious Clinic. Because accepting these children into our clinic means that immediately that child will carry infection to other children”, Telaku explains.
In a response to Kosovapres, however, the National Institute of Public Health also estimates that the seasonal flu epidemic has an apparent drop in intensity.
According to them, a total of 46 thousand and 373 suspected flu cases have been recorded between October 1st and 19th.
In addition, the Institute recommends to all citizens that they still be careful and not remain indoors with widespread density and to use as many hot fluids and vitamins as possible.
A total of 46,373 suspicious cases in the flu have been reported from October 1 to March 10, 2019. The cases are reported by all municipalities in Kosovo. The largest number of cases are reported by the municipality of Pristina, Prizren and Podujevo. At the laboratory of the National flu Centre - IK The KPS through March 12th, 2019, have tested a total of 905 suspicious samples in Influence, and 363 cases result in positive in type A Influence. The epidemic of seasonal flu has an apparent drop in intensity”, they say in response.
However, citizens have differing opinions about medical treatment.
According to a citizen from Prizren because of the neglect of doctors at the Infectious Clinic, his father is now in a coma, as he says his father had the flu but has been in good physical condition.
For this citizen, within 15 minutes, after being admitted to the hospital as long as he was away, he's lost consciousness and without reason he's been sent to an emergency because he's not had a heart attack, but he just had to be equipped with enough oxygen.
Citizen: The flu's too big, unfortunately while we're here, it's been days since I'm dead.
In Pristina when he arrived, he joined me in a very good state. And what's happened, I've come and made admission in 15 minutes until we've brought some things, called a roommate who said the old man was unconscious. In all likelihood it has happened as kind of anxiety, or as a lack of oxygen and parallel to it, and fear has taken place in a coma. Doctors here have not responded well, in my opinion, because they have taken him to the emergency with the intention of allegedly having a heart attack. The emergency turns out that there's not been a heart attack, given the device's parameters... the flu is very large, unfortunately while we're here it's not dying, that we're looking at a walking patient... guilty of being completely small that these things should be raised in medical capacity and that more measures must be taken”, he says.
While Avdullah Sadiki from Suhareka says more measures must be taken so that many citizens do not enter the Infectious Clinic, as he considers, more viruses are being taken during visits.
Sadija: This hospital is not going anywhere.
The doctor for the flu is very good, but Albanians are not taking steps to get in. But you get into one, and then the flu's happening right now. This hospital is not going into anyone, he's going in without the flu and he's getting the flu out and he's getting sick from their family, he's causing it, he wants other things, he's going to have another”, Sadiki says.
Due to seasonal flu, a committee has been formed at the level of the Kosovo Hospital Service and University Clinic, which has conveyed the epidemiological situation to the seasonal flu.
