Now that Avni Arifi has been appointed Kosovo ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, his country as the prime minister's Chief of Staff will take Selim Selimi.
Arifi has indicated that he has nominated the deputy chief of prime minister's staff to take his place, and Haradinaj has accepted it.
The prime minister has approved my proposal for Selim Selimi to be Chief Staff”, Arifi told Express on Wednesday.
Selim Selimi is adviser to Prime Minister Haradinaj, while earlier he has advised former President Atifete Jahjaga.

Arifi, meanwhile, is estimated to be Prime Minister Haradinaj's closest man. He is a member of the leadership in the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo.
His decree for appointment as ambassador to Emirate was made months ago by President Hashim Thaci.
While this week he has received the green light from Arab institutions to assume the post of resident ambassador to this state.
His diplomatic mission is expected to begin on 15 April.
