The LDK's “Parliamentary Group estimates that it is necessary for the Parliamentary Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo to express its stance on these events and to ask the Government immediately to suspend the activities of casinos and fortune games, so that such events do not repeat in”, the LDK report said.
According to the LDK, the tragic events of last week, where two young people are clearly not isolated cases at casino-game sites.
There is a risk that such events can become a phenomenon. Protection of citizens, offering security and quiet environments are the responsibility of the state of Kosovo. Therefore, it is the primary task of MPs from the Republic of Kosovo to address this phenomenon urgently through the extraordinary session. The failure of relevant state institutions at this moment will make it difficult to address this problem later”, the communique says.
