Vetevendosje Movement Chairman Albin Kurti, and Deputy Speakers Prof.Besnik Bislimi and Dr. Fatmire Mulhrama-Kollcak, have met Bundestag deputies from SPD's ranks, Mr. Josip Juratovic and Mrs. Gabriele Weber. As announced by LVV, the meeting was held at the office of the German Social Democrat Foundation (Friedrich Ebert Stiftung FES) in Pristina.
It becomes known that this meeting discussed the political situation in Kosovo and the region, the need for socio-economic development, as well as fighting crime and corruption. Mayor Kurti said new and early elections are the right and adequate solution in Kosovo, and criticised the rule of the Ottomans as well as their co-operation, which is not limited to the Balkans alone. In particular, he stressed that the Thaci-Vucciq project for the exchange of territories has failed, but that their idea has not yet died.
