Krasniqi: Trepca also manages assets north, does not divide

The metarulgic giant “Trepa” manages all of its assets, based on the statue approved for the company Ramiz Krasniqi, director of the Independent Commission for Mine and Minerals. Krasniqi says “Shrepca” is recognised company in all assets across the country. “Mining units, Trepca would do well to tell me inseparable as company [...]
“Mining units, Trepca, well, they'd tell me that they're company and normal that other units have been introduced and those in the northern part of Mitrovica, but also the mines of Artana, Kisnica, Badoc, because Trepca is known as a company of all assets that has”.
According to him, the commission is the first institution in the country to co-operate with leaders in the north, but also oversees resource exploitation.
“Yes, the Independent Commission for Mining and Minerals is probably the first institution in Kosovo to oversee the exploitation of mineral resources in northern Mitrovica or northern Kosovo, and they are licensed because they are Trepca asset”, he told Online Economy.
As for the Law adopted for Trepca, Krasniqi has described it as good news.
“To register Trepca Company takes over the Trepca Board and the Trepca management and according to the meetings we have with them, they are in the final phase, namely, it is good news for Kosovo because Trepca is now social enterprise, and managed by the Government and workers”.
“80% of assets manages the Government, while 20% of the future planned sale value is of miners or workers who worked earlier and now retired”
“ ... According to information are in the final phase of changing the Trepca statute because it has passed the Trepca Law in the Kosovo Assembly and is now under way”.
It has further clarified that exports are not large and that coal is exported, remains of Trepca with metal percentages, etc.
<x0XXport, these prices have already run but export has not been large enough, even some of the decorative rocks that have now begun to enter the market, and have been licensed by companies that deal with exploitation and production and decorative rocks, as well as according to data from customs have been exported even some remains of Trepca that are with significant percentages of metal prior to the Trepca warehouse that are exported abroad because there are interest in some states<1).
Krasniqi says the mining sector is of great importance, but recently, in the absence of a serious institution, has not been directly contributed to economic development.
The overall situation in the mining and mining sector in the Republic of Kosovo may be said to be partly satisfactory, since we still do not have a serious institute that had directly impacted Kosovo's economic development”.
As an institution launching the license, Krasniqi has indicated there are over 200 companies for use, processing and research in mineral resources.
In the past year alone, as we are independent agencies for the licensing of companies that deal with the exploration and processing of mineral resources, I'm informing you that KPM has licensed over 200 companies only last year that claim to exploit and explore mineral resources in the Republic of Kosovo”.
