The Pristina Court is expected to hold initial hearings concerning the indictment for the swelling of KLA's veterans' lists, the Express newspaper writes.
Charged in this indictment are Agim Ceku, Nureddin Lushtaku, Shkumbin Demaliyaaj, Shukri Buja, Rrustem Berisha, Faik Fazliu, Smajl Elezaj, Fadil Shudaj, Xavit Jashar and others.
At today's session it is set to decide on the temporary extent of the ban on pensions for the false “westians.
Kosovo's Special Prosecutor had filed charges for fraudulent veterans last year. Then the prosecution had demanded that all illegal beneficiaries be prohibited from receiving the pension as KLA war veterans.
It becomes known that from the evidence provided so far has proven that illegal payments to KLA war veterans, the Republic of Kosovo budget has been damaged in many of the 68,153.533.14 euros.
The Blackaj case had shaken the opinion after the former Special Prosecutor's Prosecutor had fled to the US, saying he received threats. After his departure he was also attacked by Prime Minister Haradinaj, who had called him a thief.
All of these, as members of the government Commission for recognition and verification of the status of witnesses of the nation, the invalid, the veteran, member and exile of the Kosovo Liberation Army, in the quality of official persons, have deliberately exceeded their competencies, as well as have not met the official duties, in order to enable other persons to continue to benefit from the Kosovo Republic's <x1 budget, it is said in the indictment signed by the prosecutor of the case.
Also, in the indictment it has been proposed that the court issue the measure to prevent illegally acquired pension payment, as KLA war crimes veterans, until the end of the criminal procedure.
“From the evidence provided so far has proven that illegal payments to KLA war veterans, the Republic of Kosovo budget, have been damaged in many of the 68,153.533.14 euros.
The Special Prosecutor has proposed that, after managing evidence and completing the court reviews, the defendants for the criminal offence, be convicted and tried by law.
And so, The SPRK has proposed that the Court make the decision that all illegal beneficiaries are prohibited from taking the pension as KLA war crimes veterans, said in the report sent to the media.
