The KEDS teams have conducted works on the investment Obranqa 1/2 project in Podujevo, which includes the entire village.

Here are six new tratrusions. Three with power of 250 kVA and three trafus with 160 kVA and one has been repaired.

With this investment, residents except that they will have stable energy and tension, they have removed the risk altogether from old pillars, since they have been completely replaced with concrete pillars.

The village of Obranq has an open field and scattered houses with the realization of this project KEDS has each made houses of this new energy and network. There are over 230 families that are benefiting from this investment.

Hysni Hasani, a resident of this village who works at a road maintenance company, praises KED's work and says they are now no longer afraid of risking electrical carriers.

“The strings are a double cone and the gangs are behind us very close to home and all yours from the worst. Now it's been very good and the scene has been more challenging,” Hasan said.

In another village neighbourhood, Flamur Dervisolli says that after this job KED has done in the village, they do not expect problems.

Before the wind blew, we were often exposed to gangs and the danger was great. Now the current has been strengthened and we no longer expect problems,“has said Dervisolli.

KEDS will not stop here. The company has an investment plan for the Podujevo municipality for this year to implement 66 investment projects totalling 6.5m euros, which will be the biggest investment in Kosovo's history, where 7,500 households will be beneficiaries.
