Isa Mustafa appears with a request to Hashim Thaci

Mustafa has said that appointment of members should be made in harmony with the Constitution, Law and Constitutional Court verdict.

He wrote in a Facebook post that the president's institution must meet the constitutional basis, not be referred to on the basis of pleasure or discontent.

Kosovo's president has blocked the CEC in opposition to the Constitution and the Law.

The appointment of CEC members, who belong to the parties, respectively, coalitions that have entered the last national elections, must be made in line with the Constitution, Law and Constitutional Court's decision regarding the definition of parliamentary groups.

It is clear that someone will remain disappointed, as the president had declared several days earlier, but for the institution of the president of fundamental importance, there must be fulfillment of the Constitutional Base, not reference to pleasure and discontent.

I invite the president on behalf of the LDK to unlock the CEC, because continuing this situation will deepen the consequences for political subjects, the country and for constitutional order.
