European Integration Minister Litera Hoxha does not expect the visa liberalisation decision for Kosovo to be taken before the European Parliament elections, which will be held in May of this year.
The country's first European Integrations expresses optimism that the liberalisation decision is made after these elections.
I'm re-increasing that we've completed our tasks and that now all depends on member states. Under the circumstances under which they are developing in the EU, our issue is not a priority and it is not real to expect a decision before the elections. In June, I said we're looking to get into the agenda, I haven't given a deadline, nor an incentive to our needs, but only if consensus is reached in member states to put it on the agenda and vote on Council”, Hoxha said.
Hoxha has added that at meetings she has held in different EU countries, she has realized that lifting visas for Kosovo is not a priority without completing the European Parliament elections. /Zeri/
