Haradinaj: The fallen us Krusha and everywhere we honor them by not stealing the place

Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has participated in the 20th anniversary of the Great Krusha massacre from which he was declared to have no peace in the Balkans without accepting Serbia for committing its crimes.

He addressed the children before those present, and for that he said there is a reason.

I started with the kids because I got the reason I started. It's a good feeling to see the kids where life is stopped, but our life will continue even though it was meant to stop. When I go to Prekaz and I see the younger generations, then we're sure our life and right goes on. In 1999 the decision was right NATO stops Kosovo's tragedy. Nowadays, care, respect, and honor of the fallen is a duty such as publications, books, documentaries, for them because evidence is most necessary. Our painful truth can be witnessed and told. When Serbian intellectuals and young people seek to come to Kosovo with seeing Krusha, it would be easier for them to understand the right of our region”, he said.

In addition, Haradinaj said Serbia cannot give Balkan peace if it does not recognise the crimes committed in Kosovo.

I am listening to Serbian politicians denying our crimes and pain. We have dozens of places where innocent civilians, many ethnicities and beliefs were killed. It is meaningless that Serbia wants something for recognition. How can Krusha be denied, Suhareka? How can Vuciq, Brnabyq and Dachyq deny the truth, how do we wish to give Balkan peace? We even went to dialogue with these dead people. How could they ask Kosovo to meet conditions to go into dialogue?”, he added.

The first of the Government also mentioned the murder of the Bytyqi brothers and the Ukshi Hoti case.

The Bytyqi brothers have shocked the world and the similar case is with Ukshin Hoti. As such, we politics are very guilty and critical in many ways. We will honor the fallen in Krusha and everywhere by working more sincerely and not stealing the country, not only look for ourselves and our families and relatives of our parties. We do this by putting the wicked order in the country. The recognition of Kosovo by Serbia does not imply legal amnesty. It is not a reconciliation to return to wrongdoing, but to get to know the two countries and move forward with the existing borders. We aim for EU and NATO membership. We have the army and should be able to protect ourselves, but we will be safer in NATO because it is collective protection”, the prime minister has concluded.
