Gnjilan, market work begins, traders protest

Businessmen from the city of Gjilan have protested for about an hour before the Gjilan municipality facility.

The main purpose of this protest was to reject the municipality's decision to start market work at an inappropriate time for merchants. Their demands are not to start market work before September 1st, 2019, and that these works develop in phases, but also to ensure market functioning. These demands came out for hearing even the deputy head of this municipality, Arber Ismajli, who guaranteed the businessmen how the municipality supports their demands, and the market work will not be stopped, as the operator has vowed to do things in phases. After a conversation with the deputy leader, the protesters were scattered from the city centre.
