American President “Washington Post” has dedicated an article to recent visits by American officials to Kosovo.
The US's “envoy visiting Kosovo for tax removal” is named this article in “Washington Post” in which David Hale is said to be the last American official to remain in Kosovo on the same issue.
“Hale reiterated the position that the US and the Western states will support any agreement reached between the” parties, the Washington Post writes.
Citing Haradinaj's recent statements, “Washington Post” writes that the prime minister has resisted US calls for tax removal, and that he will only do so when Serbia recognises Kosovo's independence.
Since 2011, the two countries of the former Yugoslavia have entered dialogue in an effort to resolve the long conflict. Brussels has suggested to the two countries that they must normalise their reports before membership in the bloc, the Washington Post writes further.
Regarding US officials' visits, other global media have reported, including the news agency “Associated Press” and “Financial Post”. /Lajmi.net/
